Payment Terminals: Card payments at the desk, posted to the bill by themselves

The front desk sends the amount from the booking, or from the guest's bill with Hotel Management, to the hotel's card terminal. The guest pays on the terminal, and the approved payment is posted by itself, once, with the card, the authorisation code and the terminal's reference. Deposits before arrival, refunds to the card, card holds for the stay and saved cards work the same way. Adyen, Stripe, Viva.com and Mollie terminals, five more acquirers once they certify you, and a demo terminal.

Included: no integration fee. Free instant access, no credit card required.

Payment Terminals in the Hotel Suite: Card payments at the desk, posted to the bill by themselves

Card on Terminal, at the Desk

Card on Terminal sits on the booking and, with Hotel Management, on the guest's bill. The desk sends the amount to the hotel's card terminal and the guest pays on it. The approved payment is posted by itself, once: here it is on the bill, and the bill has nothing left to collect.

Your Terminals and Their Providers

Each terminal belongs to one hotel, with its provider, test or live, the terminal's ID and the bank journal its payments go into, and a button to its transactions. The demo hotel's terminal is the demo terminal: it answers by itself and moves no money, and an amount ending in .13 is declined.

Card Holds for the Stay

With Card Holds switched on, the terminal holds an amount on the guest's card for the stay. The booking shows what the card holds and warns when the stay has grown past it. From the hold the desk tops it up, takes the payment onto the bill at check-out or releases it, and what was taken is listed on the hold.
