Questions

Questions about Bakery

Not covered here? Contact us.

Can a customer pay a deposit on a cake?

Yes. Part is paid by mobile money, cash or card and the balance is put on the customer account until collection.

Can we record when a cake will be collected?

Yes. With ship later on, the order gets a date and the cake is delivered from stock on that day.

Does bread have to carry VAT?

No. Each product has its own tax, so loaves can carry 0% while cakes and pastries carry 16%.

How do we know what to order?

The replenishment list shows ingredients below their minimum and the quantity that brings them back to the maximum.

Do both shops share the same menu?

Yes. Both tills use the same products and categories, and each keeps its own sessions and cash.

Is there an e-invoicing connector for our tax authority?

E-invoicing modules exist for countries such as Kenya, India, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. On the demo, Kenya's eTIMS connector is installed and needs the company registration before sales are reported.

Tax compliance

Invoices your tax authority accepts
