Inside the app
What is inside
The apps a drinks depot runs on, and what each does in the day.
A price list per trade
Bars, shops and wholesalers each buy on their own list, and the wholesale list takes another cut from twenty crates.
Orders with a delivery day
Every order carries the day it must be on the shelf, so the depot loads for that morning and nothing is forgotten.
Returnable crates
The crate is a product of its own: it goes out charged on the invoice and comes back on a transfer that credits the deposit.
Every bottle in a lot
Each drink is tracked by lot, so what a shop received can be followed back to the producer's delivery.
A round per van
Each van round is a delivery method, and every delivery order goes out on the round that serves its area.
Stock that reorders itself
A reordering rule on every fast mover puts the next order to the producer in the replenishment list before the depot runs dry.
Invoiced the same day
The delivered order turns into an invoice on its own day, on the terms that customer trades on.
What is out and what is due
The invoice list shows what every customer still owes and which invoices have gone past their date.
Step by step
A day at the depot
How the drinks get from the producer to the shop shelf, and which app does each step.
- Step 1
Take the order
The shop or the bar orders on its own price list, for a delivery day.
Sales - Step 2
Pick it by lot
The warehouse reserves the crates and packs, and the lots they come out of.
Inventory - Step 3
Load the round
Every delivery order carries its round, so the van leaves with the drops of one area.
Inventory - Step 4
Deliver and take the empties
The crates go out on the invoice and the empty ones come back on a transfer of their own.
Inventory - Step 5
Invoice the drop
The delivered order is invoiced the same day, on that customer's payment terms.
Invoicing - Step 6
Buy the next load
The replenishment list turns the depot's minimums into the next orders to the producers.
Purchase
The warehouse, crate by crate
Every drink is tracked by lot, so a delivery says which batch went to which shop, and the reordering rules keep the depot stocked.
Inventory
A drop reserved and ready to load
This morning's drop for a Westlands bar: the crates are reserved, so the van can be loaded straight off the list.

The vans, round by round

Explore Invoicing →The depot in numbers

Questions
Questions about Beverage Distribution
Not covered here? Contact us.
Can each customer buy on its own price list?
Yes. A price list per trade - bars and restaurants, shops and kiosks, wholesale - is set on the customer, and every order takes it from there. A wholesale list can drop the price again from a quantity of its own.
Can we see which batch a shop received?
Yes. Every drink is tracked by lot: the delivery records the lot picked for each line, so a batch can be followed from the producer's delivery to the shops that took it.
How do returnable crates work?
The crate is a product of its own, charged on the invoice when it goes out. When the empties come back they are received on a transfer of their own and the deposit is credited.
Can we load each van with its own round?
Yes. Each round is a delivery method, and every delivery order carries the round that serves its area, so the warehouse can pick and load one round at a time.
Does the system tell us what to order from the producer?
Yes. A reordering rule per line holds a minimum and a maximum; the replenishment list shows what has fallen under the minimum and how much to order to fill back up.
Can we invoice a drop the same day it goes out?
Yes. Each delivered order is invoiced on its own day, on the terms that customer trades on, and the invoice list shows what is still out and what has gone past its date.
